Has anybody tried Apple cider vinegar for weight loss?

consuming 2 tspns of apple cider vinegar with water before each meal will help reducing the weight.. has anybody tried that? Wher do we get Apple cider organic vinegar in bangalore?

I had a friend of my daughter say it worked great for her. I had zero results. Dittto for ingesting a tablespoon of organic coconut oil.

In the end, the quick fix for weight loss doesn’t appear to exist.

Common sense wins – Eat well, eat less, get exercise. period.

There is evdience it lowers the glycemic index of foods (lowers how much sugar is processed and absorbed). It is also a very strong diuretic (makes you pee). A lot of the fast weight loss people see on cider vinegar is water weight loss.

That said, I have tried it and I did lose several pounds very quickly (probably just water weight). Over time, it may help you by curtailing sugar absorption. The jury’s still out on that.

It’s also a bit rough on your stomach, which is why I stopped doing it (I did like the taste though).

You can always just drink one big glass of plain water before every meal- it will help you feel fuller faster and you’ll eat less.

As always, exercise is key to losing weight and keeping it off.

I’ve been wondering how that works. Maybe it depresses the appetite? Or burning a lot of calories walking around the grocery store looking for it?

I won’t try it, there are other more appetizing solutions, one being fresh fruits and vegetables. Probably eating an organic cucumber before each meal, or a banana, or a glass of water for that matter, would achieve the same result. Placebo effect, maybe?

I have no experience of weight loss effect due to apple cider
vinegar but where it is available in bangalore i am told at
every NILGIRIS supermarket it is available. Besides there is
no harm in trying and do not listen to allopathy quacks – the
paid agents of drug industry whose sole aim is to prevent
people from getting influenced by alternative theraphy.
Good luck and Cheers! :o )

It might be worth a try but I’m not sure it does anything more than make you feel a bit full up before you eat and so you eat a bit less during your meal.

Not sure where you could buy it in Bangalore – ? mail order maybe ?
