Is drinking apple cider vinegar good for weight loss?
Our family is diabetic. A tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with sugar free punch before each meal will help keep your sugar levels down. My brother takes the apple cider vinegar tablets and cinnamon tablets, he has lost 20 lbs. in the last month. Using this method and follow a Mediterranean diet plus exercise will put you on slim down road.

I’ve heard that it actually works but you must mix it with water. Vinegar is acidic so be cautious. Definitely consult your physician and do some research. You certainly don’t want to mess up your GI tract.

Good Lord no! Don’t believe the weight loss hype! The last thing you want to do is ingest vinegar!! Find yourself a nutritionist (check the web) who can help you set up an eating plan that you will stick with if you want to lose weight. Your body needs food! A common misconception is that if you starve yourself you will lose weight. That may be true in the long run, but you’re setting yourself up for a dangerous cycle of starve and binge. And when you do take in some food, your body will store most of it because it doesn’t know when it will get more food for energy.

Eating a balanced day’s meal from the food pyramid is good for weight loss. Apple cider vinegar has very little nutritional value. Sorry, but those are the facts. Try this : http://www.myfoodpyramid.gov.=)

I wouldn’t think so unless you want an ulcer from the acid in the vinegar.

Here is an entire page full of links on the apple cider vinegar diet/pill. I would read as much as possible and talk to a doctor especially before starting anything like this. It seems to be another one of those weight loss gimmicks to me, but don’t take my word for it, read for yourself. Good luck
