Been doing the O diet, want to switch to a more inclusive weight loss plan. Any suggestions?

Been doing The Blood Type O Diet . Burned out and still have weight to loose. Want to follow a non so restictive meal plan which produces weight loss. Any suggestions? Something that will not make me ballon up in pounds the minute I sniff a carb!

wow…you’re going to have to be verrrrrrrrrrrry careful here. Switching to even a low calorie diet will probably cause weight gain initially. I’d be looking at 1200 calories a day and see how your body reacts. Then, if all seems to be going well, add 100 calories a week to your diet until the balance starts to shift back to weight gain (if that doesn’t happen right away). The only thing that will really help here is exercise in order to offset the effects of introducing carbs back into your diet. Hopefully you’re already exercising 30 to 40 minutes a day on this low carb program. If not, strap on the running shoes or you’re libel to see a rapid weight gain even on a low cal plan. Have a look at this site it might give you some ideas…good luck..

i got an answer on here about losing weight and i got several saying a omnivore diet is healthier and would promote weight loss. lets say i didn’t eat fatty meat just leans as an omnivore. who you say a vegetarian or an omnivore diet is better for weight loss?

i need a meal plan for weight loss and a plan to gain muscle?

i am 15, about 5 ft 7 in. and i weigh about 191.

im looking for a weight loss plan to lose the weight to get aroun 160-170. and i also would like a plan to gain lean muscle.

and if u could include a daily food list of foods that i should eat to reach my goal.

i swim, play baseball and basketball

Cut out carbs (pastas, breads, potatoes, etc.) completly!
Also cut of cake and that shit
Eat mainly meat and vegetables, fruit now and again

Do a pilates routine for 20min a day
if you dont know any pilates excersises just look on youtube

Does anybody actually lose weight by becoming a vegetarian?

I know that pretty much everyone gains it because they start eating tons of carbs, but has anyone lost weight by becoming vegetarian? If so, what did you eat and did you maintain that weight loss with a vegetarian diet?

Thanks for all of the “no, this is how you lose weight” answers, they are helpful too, but right now I am only looking to hear about vegetarianism and good ways to lose and maintain weight with a vegetarian diet.

I did, but only after I fell off the wagon. I did a semester abroad and dropped the veggie thing after while. I gained a lot of weight. I lost it all after going vegetarian again and watching my intake of refined carbs, plus adding exercise.

Vegetarianism certainly can help you lose weight if you are choosing sensible alternatives to meat.

I just ate normally and continue to do so. I mean, my “bad” diet was abnormal. If you’re looking to lose weight, quadruple the amount of water you eat and double the amount of fresh produce. Eat the veggies and fruit (especially raw) before anything else. Then stop eating when you’re no longer hungry.
