— 3 ‘blue band’ bananas (these are the bananas that are sold at a reduced price at your local supermarket as they are “too” ripe)

— 2 cups Spring Water or Filtered Water

— Local Fresh Wild Herbs: Lamb’s Quarters, Plantain, Clover, etc. (do NOT wash the herbs, just brush the obvious specks of dirt off. Our bodies benefit from the microflora and the Vitamin B12 present in whatever dirt is left behind on them)

* P r e p a r a t i o n *
— 1) Add bananas and water to your Vita-Mix, or other high-powered blender of your choice. http://bit.ly/GZsuq or http://bit.ly/3OTXD9

— 2) By hand, remove leaves from all the stems of your wild herbs, add them to your Vitamix, and blend until desired consistency is reached.

— 3) Enjoy!

    When picking herbs …
When picking herbs and plants from the side of the road, it is always a good idea to walk several yards INTO the woods, away from the side of the road before picking them…and also just try to pick them from less busy roads…and yes, if you wash them real good you will be fine..enjoy! :D

Any kind of EDIBLE herb could be great for smoothies! Just follow your intuition, experiment and have fun… As for growing your own, just check to see which kinds grow best for the climate you’re in and then you’ll be good to go! :D

  9. liferegenerator Says:

    The nutrients are …
The nutrients are in the liquid! That is what your body does when it digests food– it removes the undigestible fiber, and absorbs the liquid, i.e., the nutrients that are in the liquid…and the water itself too, of course.

can u still get the nutrients if it is turned into a liquid? or do you get less cause it? passes through you faster if you turn your solids into liquids? Do u get the same amount of nutrients as a liquid as you would if it was a solid?

Wow, wait a minute. Dang man, you had a really good point! Once humans are gone, no cooking would occur. That makes a good point for raw!

    Also…

Also, I see lots of wild herbs and plants near my house while walking, however I am worried about picking them. I am worried about anything they might have been exposed to on the side of road or skirting my neighbors yards. Do you think they are worth picking IF I washed them when I got home? I never wash anything that comes from my garden but other things that come from around my neighborhood…I’m just not sure I should trust. Opinions?

Aside from the herbs you mention in this video, what are some other good ones to add to smoothies.

I have a small container garden (no room or money for anything else) and suppose I would have to grow my own.

    hi liferegenerator …
hi liferegenerator i apprieciate your replys and looked into the link you’ve sent me. I own a twin gear juicer myself, got it second hand from ebay lol, couldnt afford a new one. Your videos have inspired me aswell as david wolfes vids, thanks for imparting us all with wisdom in terms of health.

On the other hand, if time and/or money are real issues for you, then a better choice might be a Centrifugal Ejection Juicer such as a Breville; or the Hurom Juicer, which is a Vertical Single Auger Juicer.

  21. liferegenerator Says:

    After following …
After following that link click on ‘TWIN GEAR’ in the left column to see the following (which has been there for awhile now):

TWIN GEAR JUICERS PRODUCE THE HIGHEST QUALITY JUICE, YET ARE THE MOST EXPENSIVE TYPE OF JUICER ON THE MARKET AND ARE THE MOST TIME-CONSUMING TO USE. However, if you are comfortable with having to take more time to cut up your produce into smaller pieces before juicing, as well as cleaning your juicer afterwards, then if you can afford them these are the juicers for you!

  22. liferegenerator Says:

    Thanks for your …
Thanks for your concern; I’m already aware of all of that. Have a look at all the different pages of juicers at this link, where I talk about the benefits & drawbacks of each type of juicer. So for me personally, I find the Breville to be best…because I actually use it. You’ll see what I mean when you read the notes at this link. There are different juicers for different people so I encourage others to use the one they personally prefer. Thanks.

just wanted to let you know lifegenerator that centrifugal blenders destroy a lot of the enzymes in the raw food, the best juicers are the dual gear juicers as they squeze the juice from the fruits and vegetables without destroying any of the vitamins , minerals, antioxidants and enzymes, you’ll get a healthier juice if you have a dual gear juicer. take care
