This book is very easy to read with wonderful and useful information. If you want to start thinking "green" then this book is a great start.
The book spans a wide range of topics - including beauty products, cleaning products, linens and mattresses, and home improvement. If you are going to make any large-scale eco-friendly investments (on-demand water heater, organic mattress, hybrid car, solar panels) youre going to need to do much more research than what is in this book. If youre just looking for a primer covering a lot of topics and dont mind it when it states the obvious (bring your own bags to the store, recycle your trash) or hawks products, then you might find this book useful.

Also, at over 100$ per sqft, double walls like that are using $10,000-20,000 worth of floor space, nobody ever thinks about that.

I didnt even spend …
I didnt even spend 2500$ last year total utilities for a bigger home, how am I going to save that . The interest it costs to pay the extra on those panels will outway the savings, (even after tax credits) they are getting closer to beating that, but people should know. Plus, does anybody check to make sure the houses arent too tight??? That would be far worse than too leaky.

With banks planning to tear down many of the abandoned and/or foreclosed homes in their inventory, wouldn’t it be lovely to see developments such as this go up in their place?
