Graham’s wife Treena has diabetes, and this simple recipe is the perfect way to balance her blood sugar in the morning and late afternoon. It also makes a yummy dessert!

    Of course you can make this without nuts, but it’s not quite the same flavor, texture or nutritional value. Perhaps try using a variety of dried fruits that have been soaked a bit to make them easier to chew.

    Apple seeds have arsenic in them. Granted, such a small amount of arsenic is probably good for you, it elicits a response that enhances the body’s ability to process toxins while building an immunity to arsenic. Some believe that small amounts of various toxins are actually good for you based on that principle.
